At the 2012 GB Rowing Team Senior Trials held on 10/11 March at Eton/Dorney, Polly raced in the women's pair with crewmate Jo Cook, finishing 4th.

At the 2011 European Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Polly raced in the Women's eight, finishing 4th.

At the 2011 GB Rowing Team Senior Trials held on 16-17 April at Eton/Dorney, Polly and crewmate Monica Relph were 5th in the women/s pair. Polly raced in the GB Senior Women's Eight at Henley Royal Regatta making the final of the Remenham Challenge Cup.

Polly raced in the women's four at the 2010 World Rowing U23 Championships in Brest, Belarus and finished 4th.  In June she had taken gold in the U23 women's four at the Amsterdam International Regatta and won Elite 4- at Henley Women's Regatta. 

She started rowing at school when she was 14. 

In 2009 Polly won gold in the women's pair and silver in the eight at the EUSA Championships.  She took gold in the same boats at the Home International Regatta.

Polly is studying Medicine at Edinburgh University and when she's not rowing or studying she enjoys music, reading, cookery (in particular baking scones and cakes) and spending time with friends and family.
