Two weeks later he represented the GB Rowing Team at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships in the men’s eight where he came 5th. After graduating from Cambridge in 2010 with a 2.1 in Land Economy, Fred worked as a coach at Latymer Upper School which he really enjoyed but decided to concentrate on rowing full time in 2011 to try and make the senior team for London 2012.
Outside of rowing Fred loves playing golf in the summer. He also enjoys watching and following almost all sport, but mainly football and cricket, and is a very keen Newcastle United fan.
